Benefit Roller Lash Mascara Review

Hi my loves,

Today I'm doing a review of the NEW Roller Lash Mascara from Benefit Cosmetics. I've been using this mascara for a few months now and all I can say is WOW! I'm seriously so impressed with the formula of this mascara, it's like a super-curling mascara. The innovative patent pending hook design of the wand hooks, lifts and curls my lashes giving them an amazing wide-open eye look. Since it has this amazing curling effect you don't need to curl your lashes anymore which is awesome because I hate curling my lashes; so I can finally say goodbye to the dreaded eyelash curler. Speaking of curlers, the brush was molded after hair curlers hence the name Roller Lash; clever right? The wand has these tiny hooks that grab onto your lashes, which is how it's able to lift and curl your lashes- basically a roller for your lashes!

Benefit Cosmetics is known for their amazing mascaras and adorable packaging and they definitely didn't let us down with the new Roller Lash Mascara. I'm obsessed with the mascara and I'm also obsessed with the packaging. It has a sleek black tube with the mascara name written in a pale orange/pinkish color with a cute cursive font and then the handle part has this diamond texture in the same pale orange/pinkish color.

This mascara is perfect for all types of lashes! Yes girl, I'm not playing, it really is! I have very short, barley there kind of lashes but after using this mascara my lashes look amazing! I haven't been wearing false lashes because I love how long this mascara makes my eyelashes look. I think it's really the power of the curl that gives the illusion of longer lashes, and I've been testing this mascara out for a while now and I can confidently say that this mascara can hold a curl for 12 hours!!! Insane right?!
Overall, I definitely recommend trying out this mascara. Check out their website to get your hands on this hot new product; Roller Lash Mascara. I'm interested to hear your guys' thoughts, have you tried this mascara yet? If so, share your thoughts in the comments below! I can't wait to read them! Thanks so much for stopping by to read my review, hope you found it helpful and if you have any more questions about this mascara feel free to leave me a comment and I'll get back to you as soon as possible!

Have you tried this mascara yet?

MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick Review

Hello my lovelies,

Hope you are having a great day and weekend too! I’m very busy with my exams lately. I made it to write another review and that is my favourite red lipstick from Mac.

I have always been drawn to reds when it comes to lipsticks but since I was always a shy lipstick wearer I hardly ever dared wearing red and when I did, it didn't look all that great. After spending time over blogging, I have learned how lipsticks work, yet I got Ruby Woo pretty much on a whim. I wasn't sure if I would really like it or reach out for it all that much, but this is such a popular shade from MAC that I had to get it.
Ruby Woo by MAC is a deep but at the same time bright, blue-toned red. I don't think it even requires a description, it is what true red is. Since it has blue undertones it makes teeth look whiter and this is such a universal shade that it would suit most of the skin tones. Ruby Woo has Retromatte finish, which makes it an extreme matte lipstick. Now I am not sure why but as per my experience I don't find most lip products even half as drying as people rant! Perhaps, my lips aren't as dry but if you exfoliate your lips regularly and apply lip balm while doing the rest of your makeup, then blot it out before applying this lipstick, it won't give you too much of a hard time even if it doesn't glide on like butter. The pigmentation is great and the wear time of this lipstick is amazing. Once it's on, it doesn't budge! I won't say that it is 100% transfer-proof, but it is surely more than 90% transfer-proof. As for the scent, it is same vanilla-y as rest of MAC lipsticks, which isn't over-powering at all.
For me Ruby Woo literally it symbolizes being in love. For the first time in forever, I found my perfect shade of red. I love wearing this lipstick to full opacity, it is such a confidence booster and I have been reaching out for it surprisingly often. It is a must-have and I am so obsessed that I need a lifetime supply!

Have you tried this lipstick from Mac? What is your favourite red lipstick?

L'Oreal La Palette Nude 2

Hello beauties,
this week was so busy for me, with exams and a lot of other things, but I made it to write another review. I hope you will have an amazing weekend, be happy and enjoy every minute of it! Nikoleta, xoxo.

L'Oreal recently came out with 2 new 10-pan eye shadows palettes. La Palette Nude 1- a warm toned bronze palette, and La Palette Nude 2- a cool purple toned palette.
I was initially drawn to the second one because I thought it contained more unique shades than the 1st, which is a pretty basic neutral palette, and the 2nd one was a bit more daring whilst still stay on the neutral page.
The cost of this palette was $20, which is not exactly cheap for being drugstore, but I think it is worth every penny. I think the quality of these shadows is beautiful, and not quite what I expected from L'Oreal. I've never had a whole lot of luck with their colour riche shadow, so when I started playing around with these shadows I was so impressed.

I believe there are a total of 6 matte shadows and 4 shimmers, which pleased me right off the bat because I love a matte shadow, and mattes are something the drugstore lacks.

The shadows themselves are fairly soft to the touch, especially the matte shades, and I they have such good color pay off, you wouldn't even know they were drugstore. Some of the shimmer shades I found work best applied with your finger for the best pigmentation, but for the mattes that isn't a problem. When you first dip your brush into the pan it may seem a little powdery, but if you tap off the excess product on your brush I have had zero problems with fallout, which is amazing! And their wear throughout the day is great, there was no visible creasing or major fading, but I do use a primer so keep that in mind.

From top to bottom...
-Champagne shimmer
- Light rose/taupe shimmer
- Light Stone/taupe matte
- Mid tone brown matte
- Taupe shimmer
- Deep Brown w/ red undertones matte
- Deep Cool bronze shimmer
- Lilac Matte
- Orchid Matte
- Eggplant Matte

I am honestly so impressed by this palette and I think the pigmentation, blend-ability, and over all quality of this palette cannot be beat for 20 bucks. The La Nude Palette 1 may be similar to the original Naked, but La Nude Palette 2 is definitely not a dupe for any, the shades are just so different.
All in all if you are in the market for a gorgeous new palette, but don't want to spend a lot of money, this is definitely one to keep an eye out for.

Are you going to try the new palettes from L'Oreal?

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow Review

Hello my beauties,
Hope your having a great day! Today I’m writing about my favourite palette, which includes a bronzer and a highlight. It’s the perfect palette, that you absolutely need it in your life! Nikoleta, xoxo.

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow is one of those beauty products that have been haunting my dreams for quite a long time. Charlotte Tilbury, if you don't know already, is one of the most famous make-up artists in the world, and since she created her own makeup and beauty line, the net has been growing crazy about it. This duo of bronzer and highlighter in a luxury golden package is a perfect product for contouring and adding dimension to the face, for what are described on Charlotte Tilbury Official website as killer filmstar cheekbones. I couldn't resist much without buying this, my very first purchase at Charlotte Tilbury website, and since this happened a few weeks ago, I can tell you this product is really amazing and it has become one of my favorite makeup products so far! Let's take a close look at the packaging.

I got this Filmstar Bronze & Glow on Charlotte Tilbury website, but I know other websites sell her makeup and beauty line. One of the things I love the most about this Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow product is that the result is very natural and the skin looks glowing. Both the bronzer and the highlighter aren't too glittery or "fake" looking and they blend perfectly on my skin, as the powders are really light and velvety. This duo is perfect for a sunkissed look even for daytime and it's very easy to apply. I always find powder highlighters too exaggerated, fake looking, too shimmery and whenever I buy one I end up for not using it after a while, but this time it's different, because this highlighter has a warm golden tone and it looks really natural on my cheekbones, enhancing them without emphasizing my pores. The bronzer is a medium warm brown, not too dark so if you are looking for heavy contour Kim Kardashian style or anyway something very bold, this is probably not the product for you, but if you are looking for a light contouring and a natural, elegant makeup, this duo is fantastic! It is quite pricey, it costs $68, but totally worth it, I have the feeling this is gonna last for a long time, the rose gold packaging is so beautiful and the slim palette, perfect also for traveling, contains two high quality products. I have to add I didn't buy the Powder & Sculpt Brush that Charlotte Tilbury advices as the brush of choice to apply this product, but I am very tempted to buy it in my next order...I feel I entered the Charlotte Tilbury makeup tunnel with this product, and I definitely want more!
I do enjoy this palette over many bronzers and highlighters I own for its versatility.  I can use it for full on glam looks and for days when I want a more natural, healthy make up look!

Have you ever bought anything from this makeup line?
